Welcome New Interns

R-L: Selin, Charlotte, Enrico, Christos, Eleonora, Stefania, Madelyn

This summer our lab is delighted to welcome our new interns to the group.

Selin Ozcan – Selin is currently analyzing data from children with autism to detect abnormalities in the cerebellum when they are presented with happy, angry, and neutral faces. Selin has been working at BCH since August of 2016. Selin received her Bachelor’s of Science from the Istanbul Bilgi University in physical therapy and rehabilitation. She is currently attending the Uskudar University to receive her Master’s degree in neuroscience.

Charlotte Guarassi – Charlotte is helping with the setup and execution of developing a method to quantify pain levels in children in the NICU. Charlotte has been working at BCH since September of 2016. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Engineering from Campus Biomedico of Rome, where she is currently attending to receive her Master’s degree in biomedical engineering.

Enrico Lombardi – Enrico is helping identify red and green spikes in the high frequency oscillations of children with epilepsy. Enrico has been working at BCH since September of 2016. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in industrial engineering from Campus Biomedico of Rome, where he is currently attending to receive her Master’s degree in biomedical engineering.

Stefania Percivati – Stefania is working on analyzing the propagation of high frequency oscillations in children with epilepsy. She has been working at BCH since September 2016. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in biomedical engineering from the Tor Vergata University of Rome. She is currently attending Campus Biomedico of Rome to receive her Master’s Degree in biomedical engineering.
